Mr. Arthur Junior Nsereko

Chief Executive Officer and Head of Secretariat at the Network of Public Interest Lawyers (NETPIL)

Arthur Nsereko is a Ugandan lawyer and legal scholar. Arthur holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Makerere University and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre. He is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Makerere University. He also holds a Bachelors of Arts with Education from Makerere University.

Arthur is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Head of Secretariat at the Network of Public Interest Lawyers (NETPIL); an umbrella body that brings together individuals, law firms and non-governmental organizations with a commitment to engage in public interest litigation to achieve social justice in Uganda.

Arthur is also an Volunteer Instructor under the Business Law Clinic of the Department of Commercial - Law School of Law Makerere University.

Arthur is a member of the Uganda Law Society Committee on Rule of Law and Strategic Litigation and Chairs the Board Advisory Committee on Public Interest Litigation of the Legal Aid Service Providers Network.

Arthur is a member of the Uganda Law Society, the East African Law Society and the Global Alliance for Justice Education (GAJE). He is also a co-opted member on the Governance Group of Action for Justice (A4J) - a group of NGO’s united to support public interest litigation worldwide as a means to advance social justice.
